Beautiful..

I found this on the blog, Lila's Miracle Life, and thought it was such beautiful words....

Someone I love relies on me in ways you will never understand. Someone I love endures pain and challenges that break my heart and renew my spirit at the same time. Someone I love is unable to advocate for themselves for things that most of us take for granted. Someone I love will never have the opportunities that every child should have.Someone I love will need unconditional love and support after I am gone-this frightens me to the core. Someone I love encounters pity, stereotyping responses, and prejudice at every turn, because they look,act,and/or learn differently than others. Someone I love has needs that require me to allow "outsiders" to have power and input in areas that should be mine alone to meet. Someone I love will continue to look to me for everything in life long after other children are able to assume a place as part of the world. Someone I love has needs that require more time and energy than I have to give. Someone I love has needs that mean I am not able to meet basic needs of my own. Someone I love has needs that have become the driving force behind major decisions my family makes. Someone I love has changed me in ways I will never be able to describe. Someone I love has taught me about love and about the really important things in life.......

Praise The Lord!

We are back home and with all good reports!!! We are praising God all over the place!
Tawni's hearing is good and there no deformaties on her insides! They did biopsies of her stomach and esophagus to check her acid levels and we will have those results in a couple of days. She did so good for not getting to eat until around 12:00 p.m. and when I started breastfeeding she would not let go. She ate a late lunch and now is laying down she was so sleepy. Praise God!!

New Adventures

Tawni has a new adventure, Ty usually leaves the door open leading from the house to the garage as he goes outside and so now Tawni follows....
When the door is opened she crawls out the door into the garage out the garage to the driveway and will usually hang out there or head for the grass to crawl around and yes sometimes she gets a handful of grass to eat!

She is doing good, unfortunately one of the two meds the dr prescribed for her reflux she had an allergeric reaction to, it really scared me, she went totally cross-eyed and her eyes swelled up and she cried and cried for about 4 hours, the nurse said we could give her benadryl to counteract it and so after about 2 doses she finally calmed down and went to sleep.

Ty went for his ENT appt yesterday and he did good on his hearing test he even liked the little room where he could see and hear Tigger. The bad news is he had tubes put in 2 years ago and they haven't came out and so the dr wants to do surgery to take them out. So we feel like we need a 2nd opinion so we are taking him to see Tawni's ENT at the end of February. We are hoping that he can take them out in the office.

Things I love......NOT!

1)Taking Tawni to the dr which went pretty well and getting 2 more kinds of medicines!
2)Tawni having a BIG poop the out of the diaper kind,(Yes I know yuck!)and not having any extra clothes!
3)Having a FLAT TIRE! Thank the good Lord He was watching out for me that I was around someone who could air it up for me and then direct me to the nearest tire place.
4)And the best is taking a tired, fussy, fit throwing, 2 year old to the tire place and waiting 45 minutes to get the tire changed....

This is what my day consisted of....

A very hectic day but looking back and praising God for taking care of me and keeping me going.... now on to a busy weekend!

Pretty Good News

I think we finally have found my hubby a truck! Not his dream truck but something we can afford with trading in the two pieces of junk we have(sorry honey, I know you love them) so that is blessing!
Also Tawni had her hearing test today. She didn't quite make normal but at least got some good responses, looks like we will have to do the big test where she is sedated but that's really up to the dr. So we will see....
She has been feeling really good, but woke up with a runny nose this morning so we will see where that leads hopefully not the croup again!
Friday we have a gastronologist appt. for her spitting up which seems to be getting better but the ENT thinks that the spitting up she does is what is causing her to keep getting the croup and also wanting to make sure she is not aspirating the spit up into her lungs.
